Four weeks to slow it alllll the way down and get back to the foundations behind the movement.
No choreography to memorize. No pressure to keep up.
Just intentional, intimate time with your body, learning how to walk, shift your weight, find your balance, use your hips, create beautiful lines, transition with ease, explore texture and actually understand WHY the movement feels the way it does.
Whether you’re putting on heels for the first time OR you’ve been dancing for years and know your foundations could use a little love, this workshop series is for you.
Because sometimes we’re so busy trying to learn the choreography that we never actually get the time to understand the movement underneath it.
YOUR 4-WEEK SENSUAL FOUNDATIONS EXPERIENCE
WEEK 1 • GIRL, LET’S WALK THE WALK (Tues Sept 1 | 7pm -9:30pm)
Walks • balance • posture • weight placement • lines. Okay babe… before we add all the sauce, we need somewhere delicious to put it. We’re starting with the foundations of how you actually MOVE in your heels, your posture, weight placement, balance, walks and lines. We’ll slow everything down so you can understand where your weight should be, how to find and maintain your center, how to create beautiful lines through your entire body and how to walk with confidence instead of simply trying to survive getting from one side of the room to the other. This is your foundation. Let’s make her STRONG.
WEEK 2 • GIRL, LET’S USE THOSE HIPS (Tues Sept 8 | 7pm -9:30pm)
Hips • weight shifts • body rolls • isolations • sitting into your movement. You have hips, babe. Let’s learn how to USE them. This week we’re getting juicy. We’ll explore weight shifts, hip isolations, hip circles, body rolls and how to actually sit into your movement instead of rushing through it. You’ll begin understanding where movement initiates from, how your weight creates your movement and how giving yourself permission to slow down can completely change the way something feels in your body. Less copying shapes. More understanding YOUR body.
WEEK 3 • GIRL, LET’S WHIP & DIP (Tues Sept 15 | 7pm -9:30pm)
Hair whips • levels • turns • transitions • textures • dynamics. Okayyyy… now we can play.
We’re taking those foundations and adding some of the delicious details we LOVE in heels.
We’ll explore hair whips, turns, level changes, transitions, textures and dynamics, breaking down the technique underneath them so you’re not just throwing your body around and hoping for the best. We’ll play with how you get INTO a movement, how you get OUT of it and all those tiny details in between that make your movement look and feel effortless. Because the magic isn’t always in the “move"... it’s in the transition.
WEEK 4 • GIRL, PUT SOME SAUCE ON IT + GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT
Musicality • details • transitions • textures • dynamics • embodiment • putting it ALL together! Baby, you have the tools. Now let’s make them YOURS. This week is where technique meets embodiment. We’ll bring everything we’ve explored over the past four weeks together through intentional across-the-floor movement and sensual sequences, your walks, hips, turns, transitions, textures, musicality, dynamics and all those delicious little details. But this time? We’re getting out of our heads. We’re playing. We’re exploring. We’re finding YOUR sauce. Because the goal was never to move exactly like me. The goal is to understand your body deeply enough that you can stop thinking about every little thing and finally FEEL YOURSELF in it. And after four weeks of doing the work? We’re going OUT.
We’ll close our Sensual Foundations experience with a Girls’ Night Out to celebrate your progress, your confidence, your connection and everything you’ve poured into yourself over these four weeks.
Come learn the details.
Come understand your body.
Come build your foundation.
Come find your sauce.
And most importantly…
Come feel DELICIOUS in it.
I can’t wait to spoil you.
