The Training Cohort — Fall 2026: Movement Clarity
The Training Cohort (TTC) is a six-session, small-group mentorship for high-intermediate and advanced dancers who want more clarity, control, and intention in their movement. Led by Tad Racca at On One Studios in San Jose, this Fall cycle focuses on Movement Clarity.
Sundays, 1:00–3:45 PM: October 18 and 25; November 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2026. The room is intentionally limited to about 8–10 dancers.
Across six sessions, dancers will work through movement dynamics and body awareness; movement preparation and control; footwork articulation and weight distribution; range of motion and connected movement; shapes and pathways; then momentum and redirection. Each session pairs focused exercises with choreography application and direct coaching.
Included between sessions: choreography demonstration and breakdown recordings, weekly personalized feedback, a Discord space for cohort communication, and two optional 1:1 video office hours (one mid-season and one after the cycle). Dancers should already be comfortable with foundational rhythm and groove, learning choreography at a standard class pace, improvising during exercises, and receiving direct feedback.
Applications are reviewed for training fit and commitment. Standard full-cycle tuition is $300. A $50 early-bird code is available for the first three eligible completed enrollments, bringing tuition to $250; the code is shared after approval. Limited financial support may be considered after application review. Single-session drop-ins are $55, subject to available space and curriculum fit, and are arranged through a separate transaction link. This Program checkout enrolls you in the full six-session cohort. Previously promised alumni credits must be confirmed with Tad before checkout.
