About this event
The Danger Room is a guided Krump training lab built around exploration, problem-solving, and developing greater ownership of your movement.
Each session centers around a specific Domain — a movement quality, skill, concept, or challenge to investigate through Krump and your own movement language.
Rather than following choreography or simply drilling combinations, you’ll work through prompts, exercises, and challenges that can range widely in approach and complexity. The same prompt may challenge an experienced Krump dancer in one way and someone newer to the style in another — creating room for a fresh experience regardless of who steps into the lab.
The goal isn’t for everybody in the room to move the same.
It’s to leave with a better understanding of how you move, why you make the choices you make, and what else might be possible.
All levels are welcome, but the Danger Room is not an introductory Krump class. First-timers are welcome to participate, but the lab is best experienced with at least some familiarity with basic Krump terminology and technique.
Come ready to experiment, ask questions, make choices, and work.
