Adrian Flores

Born and Raised in El Paso, Texas, Adrian José Flores is a movement directing extraordinaire based in Austin, Texas. With a Bachelors Degree in Radio/Television/Film from the University of Texas at Austin, he marriages his passion for music and dance by creating films that reflect the culture and climate of today's world. Inspired by the showmanship of Michael Jackson, Missy Elliot, and Beyoncé, AJ Flores collaborates with local musicians/artists on their live shows and music videos with works being displayed on major stages such as ACL Music Festival, SXSW & ACL live: Moody Theatre for the last 3 years. AJ plans to continue on this trajectory elevating the scale of his productions, while continuing to be a student of the craft and cultivating his dance style by immersing himself in environments where foundational styles of movement are cultivated, such as: Vogue, Hip Hop, Latin, House, Memphis Jookin, Jersey Club, Baltimore Club, Chicago Footwork & Afro dance styles. Along with being a student, AJ values education hosting choreography and movement exploration classes. His intention is to cultivate a safe space where students feel challenged and undergo individual transformational processes that connect them deeper to their inner artist.
