House with Cricket

We're so hype to bring up James “Cricket” Colter teaching a special house class! 

James “Cricket” Colter is a world-renowned professional street dancer with a strong discipline in House and Breakdance. He has taught globally, including at numerous contemporary and street dance festivals. Cricket is a part of the “Step-Fenz” dance crew, a NY-based dance group known for its mix of Breaking and House dance, and is also a founding member of the Street Dance Company Rennie Harris Pure Movement (RHPM). In addition, he maintained the House Head Session, a weekly dance practice for Street Dancers, for over 10 years.

Cricket was a featured dancer in the Disney movie “Step Up 2: The Streets and has performed with various recording artists, including Eve, Fall Out Boy, and Will Smith, and is still active in the Hip-Hop Concert Dance world.  Working with the likes of Bill "Crutch Master" Shannon, Raphael Xavier, and Jonzi D, founder of the London-based Breakin Convention.
